Fast Conversion and Automatic Separation 
Scan directly into DocComposer or import files from another DMS or database. Creating PDF files from paper or TIFF images only takes a matter of minutes. For example, a 1,200 page TIFF file can be converted to PDF in one minute. If hidden text is needed, conversion speeds range from 1,000 to 7,000 pages per hour based on the speed of the OCR engine. This means that you can convert paper documents into PDF and add digitized text reliably at high speeds.

Create multiple documents from one batch of documents with the latest in OCR technology. DocComposer detects customized barcode information, automating the separation of large documents into smaller individualized documents.

DocComposer allows you to create dynamic indexes in two unique ways implementing OCR technology. Through Standard OCR Indexing and Automatic OCR Indexing, the entire process is made simple.

For manual indexing, simply drag a box around the data and it will be automatically indexed, storing the information into one of many user-definable index fields. Standard OCR Indexing is easy to use and essential to saving time.

With Automatic OCR Indexing, you can populate index fields simultaneously while selecting entire content areas. This is especially useful when documents have consistent information and the length of data is extremely long.

In addition, SmartMatch functionality matches scanned content to a predefined user-created list. SmartMatch inserts the value from the list that is the closest match into the index field instead of the scanned value that may contain spelling errors.
